HI THERE! I GUESS YOU WANTED TO KNOW A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME.
My name is Hannah Wagner-Collins. I love being creative and being able to produce something I made personally. I've been drawing ever since I could hold a pencil, and my love for photography started becoming more serious when I got into high school.
In the 10th grade, my computer tech class allowed me to explore a bit when it came to different camera lenses and bodies; but I didn’t know what I was doing at all just yet. After taking a year off after high school, I found myself in a photography course which I absolutely enjoyed. I’m officially an OOK now and graduated with honors in April 2021. Currently, I’m taking on family portrait sessions and high school graduation photos with Lifetouch, as well as keeping my artsy landscapes and nature photography close to my heart.
WHAT DO I LIKE TO SHOOT?
Overall I love photographing nature, wildlife, and landscapes in Canada. The beauty the animals show in their natural habitats inspires me to explore where I live more. From birds in my backyard to wild Ram in the mountains.
Portraits are another love of mine as well, I love capturing the pure expressions and emotions of an individual and showing that in a single image. I love chatting with my clients and getting to know their stories, every single person on this planet is so unique in their own right, and I love to express those traits and personalities in my photographs.
More recently I have been diving into night photography, traveling to Saskatchewan in 2020 and 2023 to capture the Milky Way and Northern Lights across the sky. Driving to the North West Territories as well to see the incredible Yellowknife Northern Lights. And I’m always setting up my tripod in my backyard to shoot the moon when it’s out. I’m hoping in the future I can get outside more and show off more of the night sky!
