What to expect
I’m sure if you have never hired a photographer before, you could be feeling a bit nervous about what to expect before, during, and after the photo session. I usually like to start our experience together with an in-person or online consultation, just so we can both understand and walk through everything that will happen during the actual photoshoot. I can answer any questions you may have, and we can get to know each other a bit more!
Before the Session
I’ll be keeping in touch with you via text, email, or any other way I can reach you! Just so we can confirm times, locations, and answer any last-minute questions you may have. If we need to reschedule the session we can do it during this time as well. I do ask if you need to reschedule closer to the photoshoot date to let me know at least 48 hours in advance so i can make changes accordingly. Also, let me know if you want to bring any extra people or animals to the shoot! I always love working with your fur babies!!
During the Session
Now the day has arrived and we’re ready to take some photos! Just be yourself and I know we’ll have a great time. I’ll probably mention a few poses here and there; but for the most part, I want you to be you! My sessions for individuals can range from 1-6hrs just depending on if we travel to multiple locations or have a day booked at the studio. Weather can also be pretty unpredictable at certain times of the year as well, so times can vary!
After the Session
Right after the session is all finished up, I like to download the raw images onto my Ipad pro so we can take a quick look at what we created! You can pick out some of your favourites while we take a quick breather. Images can take 1-4 weeks to process, but once im done ill send a gallery so you can pick your favourites or ask for any final touchups. After that I’ll send you your photos or start the printing process!
